Ginger Chambers
Ginger
says, "I didn’t plan to become a writer. It
just … happened. I was never a particularly devoted student,
impressing teachers with my prose. Throughout my school years
I'd far rather be outside than in a classroom. Words and the stories
they could tell rarely penetrated my life except when forced upon me
for a report.
"Then one day a light switched on. I began to read everything I could get my hands on, with romances becoming my favorite. Many hundreds of romances later I decided to try to write one. It wasn't easy. But through perseverance and good luck—a lot of luck—I sold my first book to the second publisher I sent it to. And now here I am, thirty-three books later, still writing."
Ginger began her career with Dell Publishing in the Candlelight Romance, Ecstasy and Ecstasy Supreme lines before moving to Harlequin, where she’s written for Harlequin American Romance, the Welcome to Tyler and Hometown Reunion continuity series, and Superromance. Within Superromance Ginger authored the popular seven-book series The West Texans, her own continuity series about the dynamic family of the Parker Ranch in far West Texas.
About this site: "AWritersWork.com is the perfect place for readers to find an author's earlier hard-to-locate books. I'm starting with one book, Call It Love, and will add the rest of my Dell books as the weeks go by. So be sure to make return visits to discover what's new!"
